PPL’s security officer recruitment process is carefully constructed, allowing us to identify and hire only capable, trustworthy and professional personnel.

In addition to submitting a Certificate of Good Character from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS), selected candidates go through background and medical checks before we invite them to join our PPL team.

We conduct a stringent entrance exam, in which applicants must perform well if they are to be considered. Our security personnel also agree to submit themselves to periodic drug testing.

Our response vehicles are manned by well-trained personnel, capable of handling any security emergency. Should the situation require additional professional assistance such as firefighters or medical experts, our control room staff will immediately dispatch the required emergency service backup.
